Instructions
- Combine rice, liquid, and butter or oil in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In a large sauté pan over medium low heat, add oil and garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove garlic and set aside.
- Add cooked rice to sauté pan, add fried garlic, and stir to incorporate. Leave the rice undisturbed on medium heat for 7-8 minutes or until crispy and golden. Flip and repeat on the other side. Garnish with green onion, serve, and enjoy!
